I<\/span>t is my passion to join someone and walk with them through hard points in life.<span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">\u00a0I enjoy working alongside individuals, ages 4 through young adult, implementing a cognitive-behavioral and strengths based approach.\u00a0At the heart of me is the belief that each person is valued, gifted, and has potential to grow.\u00a0 Sometimes allegorical rocks prevent growth from happening.\u00a0It is at this point that\u00a0I\u00a0appreciate\u00a0the chance to enter your or your child\u2019s life, work with you to move these \u201crocks\u201d, and help you grow to experience life more fully.\u00a0 I offer\u00a0play therapy for young children as well as individual psychotherapy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Biography<\/span><\/p>\n<p>During my college years, I followed a lifelong dream to work in orphanages in Central America.\u00a0 I returned home eager to give young people tools to handle the hard things they face.\u00a0 Life isn\u2019t fair, but with someone believing in you, there is hope to grow, become stronger, and gain skills to handle adversity in life.\u00a0 This is true for every person I\u2019ve encountered.\u00a0 I believe that when I am given the chance to walk closely with a person or family, through the vulnerable and difficult space, we can work together to find change and hope.<\/p>\n<p>I graduated from Washington Bible College and received a M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I have taken additional classes through Capital Bible Seminary and Rivier University. Prior to moving to NH, I worked with young people, their families and teachers in and around inner city Baltimore. My passion is coming alongside a person and walking with that individual towards growth.\u00a0 I believe that change implemented when a person is younger has a lifelong positive impact.
